THE ORANGE HOUSE

The objective of the renovation at Ca´n Taronja is to merge raw materials and aesthetic liveability. Mimicking colours and textures from the surroundings, Ca´n Taronja will feel as calm as the rolling fields. To do so, the project will begin with opening up the living space to let ample natural light in. Stone and microclay flooring will be in earthy tones to complement the Moorish typology. Whilst the finishes, comprised of wrought iron and aluminium, will explore the balance of contemporary and Mallorcan tradition. There will be a special focus to bring renewed life to the local Mares sandstone.
